  The game of paintball has evolved into one of the most popular extreme sports in the world. The sport of paintball comes in several variations, but there are basic standards to the game that apply to nearly all of its forms. Here they are.

Things You'll Need:

•  Paintball certified mask
•  Paintball marker
•  Hopper
•  CO2 or HPA tank
•  Paintballs

Steps:

1. Step One Split your group into two evenly matched teams.
2. Step Two Start the game with a paintball marker (gun), paintball mask, a full tank of CO2 or compressed air and a hopper filled with as many paintballs as you wish to carry.
3. Step Three Work with your teammates to complete any objectives the game you are playing requires.
4. Step Four Shoot at the opposing players with the paintballs and try to mark them with a ball. The ball must break on your opponent or the equipment they are carrying to count as a hit.
5. Step Five Avoid being marked by your opponents' paintballs during the game. If you are marked, you must raise your paintball marker into the air and walk off of the field.
6. Step Six Clean off any marks after the game. Then go out and play another one.

Tips & Warnings

• Play at a commercial paintball facility in your area. They will have trained staff on site who can explain the safety rules and rules of the game.
• Bring plenty of money for extra paintballs. This is usually the most expensive aspect of the game. Most people quit when they run out of paintballs.
• Wear a mask! You risk serious injury if you neglect to wear a paintball mask.

Strategy of game exists more than 30 kinds. The most used strategy:

• Center Flag:
  Any paintball game that uses a center flag, where the object is generally to get to the flag and move it to the home base of the opposing team.
  
• 2 Flag:
  Any paintball game that uses two flags in some way. Usually 1 flag at each team's home base, where the object is to either pull the flag, or to get it and return it to your home base.
  
• Total Virus:
  A game where every player is on their own team VS everyone else. Each player has the ability to reactivate an eliminated player, up to the point that they themselves are eliminated, wheras they lose that power. The object is eliminate and absorb as many people into your team as you can quickly, and that last team to own the field wins. There should be only 1 player with the ability to reactivate players at that time.
  
• Turkey Hunt:
  A few experienced players take to the field, and the rest of the players,usually a large force of players, take to the field to try to find them, and eliminate them.
  
• Trail Flag:
  A flag is placed on a terail, usually in the center, the object is to simply get the flag and drive it to the opposing teams start zone. the hard part is, if you are carrying the flag, you can not leave the trail.
  
• 5 in 5:
  A Rogue Classic, prove your skill, 5 players enter the village atthe rec field, and the rest of the players have only 1 minute per player int he village to take control and eliminate all of them. This game is common to see 5 VS 40 - 60+. While the numbers look staggering, the village has only been taken a small handfull of times. It is not as easy as it looks, if your attacking.
  
• Trench Control:
  A series of trenches lay arcoss the rec field, your job is to control as many as possible. The trick is to have at least 1 player from your team in a bunker to control it.This game is typicly a respwan game, lasting 45 minutes or so.

• Hold the Fort:
  A classic game. You are in a fortified location with a flag. defend your ground and do not let the opponents take your flag.
  
• Fort VS. Stronghold:
  Similarto the game above, but each team has a stronghold or fort. Each team can leave their base at will, and their object is take the other fort. Simple right?
  
• Escort Frankie:
  Meet Frankie, our dummy in a flight suit, no really a manaquin in an organe flight suit. you job, to safetly escort frankie to a location designated before the game. Simple, don't let him take a hit. The kicker? It is often played like a trail flag game as above, with the added rules that the team with Frankie cant be more then 20-30 feet off the trail while the opposing team can go anywhere.
  
• Rescue Frankie:
  Get Frankie from your opponent. Dont shoot Frankie. Those haphazard shots through a window of a for has ended more then one rescue mission.
  
• The Meat Grinder:
  This is actually the name of one of our fields, it is a narrow, empty, rocky climb to a fort at the top of a small hill. The terrain is not too rocky but more asa gravel pit, with teirs of dirt you must get to and advance over. this is also player like 5 in 5 but without the 5 minute time limit.

• Hold the High Ground:
  A hill game of some sort with better terrain then the meat grinder. Simple, hold your ground, they have to attack up the hill at you.
  
• Respawn:
  Any game that allows you to re-enterthe game without leaving the field. There are rules given before the game to tell you how you respawn and when you can.
  
• Asylum Lockdown:
  Take and hold the tower, the top of the tower.
  
• Riot control:
  A few brave souls in the tower top and bottom, VS the entire rest of the players. The inmates are in a riot and you are locked in the last guard tower. your opponents start on both sides of the field, you are in the middle. Hard but has been done before.
  
• Rally:
  Any game where all players are on the field at once, either to capture flags or to eliminate to be the last team standing. Teams are small usually 2-3 players each.
